Explorer Day Camp - “Multisport”
Is one parent in your family from an English speaking country, so that your child is growing up bilingual? Or has your child gone to a German-English kindergarten or to a bilingual school? Are you looking for a suitable camp where your child is challenged at just the right level according to his or her English knowledge? We have the answer for you. Besides lots of sports activities that kids love like cricket, touch rugby or baseball, we emphasize reading and writing skills in English – we assume your child can already speak English fluently.
The Multisport camp takes place every day from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. We have a lunch break with the kids and eat together during that time. We also offer flextime between 8 and 9 a.m. and 4 and 5 p.m. in which we accompany your children until you pick them up.
The meeting point for the Multisportcamp is at the Städtische Bezirkssportanlage, Wolkerweg 17, Neuhadern
The camp is open to children between 7 and 10 years of age.
Explorer Day Camp – age 4-6

Assuming your child can already speak English fluently, we have the answer for you by doing lots of activities that kids love. The camp takes place every day from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. We have a lunch break with the kids and eat together during that time. We also offer flextime between 8 and 9 a.m. and 4 and 5 p.m. in which we accompany your children until you pick them up.
The camp is open for children between 4 and 6 years of age.
Details
On the first day, the caretaker gives the children an overview of the week. The rules for interacting with the other children are explained and the week’s projects are decided upon. If there are any specific interests or requests our teachers try to include these in the program.
The activities spread out over the day happen indoors and outdoors – no matter the weather. We make sure to alternate between “active” and “playful” learning and that the children’s knowledge is challenged and pushed.
Both English Explorer Day Camps take place between 9 am and 4 pm. We offer “flextime” between 8 and 9 am and between 4 and 5 pm, when the children are taken care of but no teaching happens. These times must be booked separately. We have a lunch break together from 12 to 1 pm. The food is provided by a catering service and is eaten during the excursions.
We keep the size of the groups small for a reason – only 8 to 10 participants maximum. The children are placed into the appropriate group based on age and prior knowledge.
