English-speaking Soccer Camp in Munich

Speak English like the Pros
“And he passes the ball from the left. The striker takes it and rushes forward on a clear pitch– faster than the other players, no one can reach him! He shoots – straight in! Yeah! Gooooal!“ We know the commentary from football games in the stadium or on TV. The announcer is just as excited as his audience! Soccer is the sport that moves the world. For your soccer-loving kids we offer the chance to be part of the game of games. During our soccer camp in Munich, the children receive soccer training from professional players and also learn to speak English like the pros! The trainers take the age and playing ability of the children and work individually with them, showing them how they can improve. And of course the sport program in the holiday camp is adapted to the condition of the participants. No one will fall behind or get bored!
The combination sport and language camps begin with English training for one group and with soccer training for the other. At halftime they switch. For the children, this means speaking English and at the same time using what they have learned in the camp. This playful approach avoids the discouraging pressure to perform that so many children know from school.
The children train ball handling skills and game strategies, move indoors and outdoors and switch between active playing and learning. We of course take a few breaks and have a nice lunch together!
The area available to us, the Bezirkssportanlage am Wolkerweg (city district sport grounds), makes our comprehensive holiday program possible. It offers the perfect space with enough room to run around and also to have classes too; great for an English-speaking soccer camp in the middle of Munich.

Dribbling - Passing - Shooting
While learning English you don’t have to miss out on your favorite sport. You can learn both while having fun – come on and play soccer by learning the English rules. Our soccer trainers have years of experience working with kids and can challenge and encourage you based on your current condition. We have children from 7 to 14, such a large range of ages, because we want to encourage cooperation. The children and youths therefore learn even more from the camp.
In the English training, the most important thing is to use what you have learned in school. So there is no grammar cramming or memorizing vocabulary. You will have to use the English you have learned in games, quizzes and puzzles. Of course a few grammar topics will be mentioned, but speaking is the main goal. You will be put into groups by age and your prior knowledge of English. In general, groups are not larger than 7 to 10 participants.
You don’t need to have any soccer experience to play in our soccer camp. The trainers work with you individually based on your age and soccer knowledge and show you what you need at that moment. The trainers will decide at the camp how to divide up the groups. The trainers will also speak English to you, but at a level that you can understand. But it is not a “must”, since not everyone at soccer camp is ready to speak English the whole day long.
We look forward to welcoming all of our participants!
